= About Crematogaster scutellaris (Olivier, 1791) (Hymenoptera, Formicidae) as egg predator of the pine processionary moth.*[The capacity of the ant Crematogaster scutellaris as an egg-batch predator of the pine processionary moth Thaumetopoea pityocampa in a forest of Pinus halepensis in the Valencia province is studied. The predation rate was 27.5% & it principally affected to basal & apical parts of each sample. The consequences of this predation behavior on the efficacy of the ooparasitoid complex associated with the pest lepidopteran are discussed.]
