This is an alternative method for translating Menu links.
- Go to Admin Menu -> Structure -> Menus
- Click the 'list links' option that corresponds to the menu containing the menu link you wish to translate (for example, choose Main Menu for the 'About' menu link).
- Click the 'edit' link that corresponds to the Menu link you wish to translate
- Click the 'Translate' option. This button is in the upper-right of the window next to 'Edit menu link'.
- Click the 'translate' link that corresponds to your language.
