Cardiocondyla nuda Mayr, v. shuckardoides ^HNS

. - Differe du type par ses dents metanotales plus courtes, sa sculpture plus faible, surtout son thorax plus luisaut etc. C'est une veritable forme intermediaire entre la C. nuda Mayr ^HNS , et la C. shuckardi ^HNS Forel, de sorte que cette derniere forme devra etre reduite au rang de race. Le soir, dans l'herbe, Antananarivo (M. Sikora).

The global distribution of C. nuda, as defined by Seifert (2003), is restricted to Australasia and the Pacific Island region. Records of C. nuda previous to the publication, and outside this region, likely refer to close relatives such as C. kagutsuchi or C. mauritanica.
