Trichomyrmex destructor

Trichomyrmex destructor (= Monomorium destructor) is a small, aggressive, weakly bimorphic species that forages in tight lines and recruits strongly. It is very capable of defending food resources. Notice the strong bicolored appearance with the lighter orange head and body and the contrasting dark gaster.

Note the small individual of a different species engaged in the fight is Wasmannia auropunctata.
