Wasmannia auropunctata

Wasmannia auropunctata is a very small yellow species that moves slowly and deliberately. It follows tight foraging lines, recruits strongly, and is very capable of dominating food resources. The species foragers both on the ground and vegetation. It prefers shaded environments, and will nest in many different microhabitats.
